2. Description of Services

We offer lodge rentals in Dilaflöt, Iceland, for overnight stays. Each lodge is equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, sauna, and hot tub.

3. Pricing and Payment Terms

Prices are listed in euros, Icelandic krona, and dollars, and include VAT.
A payment is required to confirm the booking and can be made by [credit card]. The booking will be confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

4. Booking and Confirmation

Bookings can be made via our website, subject to availability.
A booking confirmation will be sent by email upon receipt of payment.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

In accordance with European consumer protection regulations, our cancellation and refund policies are as follows:

  • Free Cancellation: Cancellations made up to 30 days before the arrival date are free of charge.

  • Cancellation with Fees: Cancellations made between 30 and 7 days before arrival will incur a 50% fee.

  • Non-Refundable: No refund will be granted for cancellations within 7 days of arrival.

In cases of exceptional circumstances (force majeure), cancellation fees may be reviewed. The right of withdrawal does not apply to tourism services booked for a specific date, in accordance with European Directive 2011/83/EU.

6. Check-in and Check-out

Check-in time is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM.
If you plan to arrive late, please inform us in advance.

7. Security Deposit

A security deposit of [amount] is required upon arrival and will be refunded within [number of days] after departure, provided no damage is found.

8. House Rules

Tenants must adhere to the following rules:

  • Smoking is prohibited inside the lodges.

  • Pets are not allowed unless previously agreed upon.

  • Guests must maintain a peaceful environment and avoid excessive noise.

9. Liability

We are not responsible for service interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control, such as force majeure events or extreme weather conditions.

The tenant is responsible for any damage caused to the lodge and its equipment during their stay.

The owner accepts no responsibility for any accidents, personal injuries, or property damage occurring in the house, in the hot tub (spa/jacuzzi), or in the sauna during the rental period. Use of these facilities is at the sole risk of the tenants. It is the responsibility of all guests to ensure their own safety and that of their companions, particularly children. By accepting this rental, guests acknowledge that they use the premises and amenities at their own risk and waive any claims against the owner in the event of an incident.

10. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These general terms and conditions are governed by Icelandic law.
In the event of a dispute, the competent courts are those of Reykjavik.
